Still Here…
Just a quick post to let everyone know I'm still here — things have just been crazy the last several weeks. Long story short, my Dad passed away April 5th, so things have been totally family-focused. I'll post more later, but I just wanted to let you all know I haven't disappeared...

My deepest condolences to you and your family…Cancer has affected a number of people I am/was close to as well. Fortunately, your father no longer has to endure the suffering imposed upon him by the disease. :(
I had a feeling that was why we hadn’t heard from you. I’m sorry for your loss. I am actually going through a similar situation myself, and taking it day by day. As Mike said, at least the suffering has now passed, although I’m sure the loss presents it’s own kind of loathing. I wish the best for you and your family.

Dear Maury, I’m so sorry that your father has died. His fight was truly inspiring. I hope that you and your family are finding comfort in the fact that you loved and honored him during his lifetime.
